I am a Christian. I am a man. I am a friend, brother, uncle, and son. I am a college professor. I am a seeker, a thinker, a feeler. I am also gay—and believe God has called me to the vocation of celibacy. I’m glad you’re here and hope you will be edified and encouraged by these reflections of a Christian.
For the purposes of this blog, I will go by the name Aaron.
For those who know my identity because I personally directed you here, I ask that you keep me anonymous, at least for the time being, while I consider how open I should be about my journey of faith and sexuality. Other Christians in my position have faced persecution and therefore I ask you to respect my privacy. (Thanks in advance!)
